Rob says singing on Twilight made him uncool

Robert Pattinson says featuring on the soundtrack to the Twilight movies has made him look seriously uncool.

The vampire-hunk � who recorded songs for the Twilight soundtrack and will also feature in the music for the upcoming sequel Twilight Saga: New Moon � says he feel like the world�s biggest idiot when the film came out the first time around.


He said: "When the first film came out I felt like a complete t****r. It looked like I was trying to be cool or something, like Eminem. You know, be in a movie and then do a song for the soundtrack. But I didn't look cool, I just looked ridiculous."

The 23-year-old heartthrob made the admission to the Sydney Morning Herald Newspaper and also revealed what it�s been like working alongside X Men star Hugh Jackman.


Rob is set to star in Unbound Captives with the brawny actor and said they passed the time away from the set by competing in karaoke sing-offs - which Hugh won.


Rob said: �We met up in Japan and we went karaoke singing. We were singing Abba songs, it was pretty funny. It was sort of an Abba song sing-off, you know, last man standing.


"I think he won, only because he can drink more than me and still sing in tune. He's a cool guy and I'm really looking forward to that film."

Han sa: "N�r f�rsta filmen kom ut k�nde jag mig som en komplett t **** r. Det s�g ut som om jag f�rs�kte vara cool eller n�got, som Eminem. Du vet, vara i en film och sedan g�ra en l�t till soundtracket. Men jag s�g inte cool ut, jag s�g bara l�jlig ut. "

Rob ska medverka i Unbound Captives med den muskul�se sk�despelaren och sa att de f�rdrev tiden vid sidan av inspelningarna genom att t�vla i  karaoke sing-offs - som Hugh vann.


Rob sa: "Vi m�ttes upp i Japan och gick p� en karaoke bar. Vi sj�ng ABBA-l�tar, det var ganska roligt. Det var typ av ett ABBA-s�ng sjunga-off, ni vet, Last Man Standing.

"Jag tror att han vann, bara f�r att han kan dricka mer �n mig och fortfarande sjunga i samklang. Han �r en cool kille och jag ser verkligen fram emot den filmen."
