Jimmy Dean sparked off a similar hysteria with his leading role debut as rebellious teen in 1955 like Robert Pattinson as romantic vampire today. Furthermore the hair fits.

Year 1986. It�s not like Robert Pattinson didn�t exist before Twilight (2008). He was in two Harry Potter movies actually. He didn�t really attract the audience�s attention with it though. But what a difference: As pale undead he became a star almost overnight � granted, only for the female earthlings. That doesn�t hurt/damage his career. After part 2, New Moon, part 3 of the vampire saga, Eclipse, will hit the cinemas in July.
