We wonder if Dakota Fanning knew she was in for such a racy role when she decided to play The Runaways lead singer Cherie Curie. If director Floria Sigismondi had her way, Dakota would have gone topless!
�If I used an 18-year-old, I could�ve maybe had her topless�.just to give it a little more reality,� Floria tells Matt Donnelly of LATimes.com. �There were a lot of things I couldn�t do that I wanted to do.� Meaning, we assume, that if she had been two years older, we would have been seeing a whole lot more of north Dakota than ever before.
One thing the director DID do was instigate an onscreen smooch between Dakota and her co-star, Twilight�s Kristen Stewart, 20. But the kiss itself isn�t as steamy as you�d think. �It�s pretty subjective,� Stewart said of the girl-on-girl action. �It was never written in the script, like, �hardcore sex scene.��
