They're both part of a global entertainment phenomenon. Hers is "Lost" and his is "The Twilight Saga". Therefore, like it or not, they both have had a high level of fame and very little privacy to deal with in their so-called private lives.
But in their new romantic film, she plays a strong, take-no-prisoners young woman. And Robert Pattinson plays the pursuer in their relationship. Not like this commitment-phobic Twilight-vampire who keeps initially avoiding, then pushing poor Bella away and annoyingly keeps refusing to make her a vampire so they can be together forever.
But the big question in Pattinson's fans minds is, will Emelie and Robert have as much onscreen chemistry as Kristen Stewart and Robert do?
Especially now that Bella Swann & Edward Cullen's kiss has been voted one of "the top 50 classic movie kisses of all time" That's a lot to live up to.
