Nikki Reed Helps Raise $800,000 In School Supplies

This summer, Nikki Reed ("Rosalie Hale" in the Twilight Saga) was the spokeswoman for DoSomething.org's 3rd Annual Staples Do Something 101 School Supply Drive, and yesterday it was announced that she and the organization were able to raise over $800,000 worth of school supplies from the effort - "the most ever in the campaign�s history."

"I am inspired by and applaud the many teen volunteers who gave their time and energy to help students in need . . . The donations Staples collected will have widespread effects, helping students throughout the country get their school year off to a great start. I�m so happy to have been able to be a part of such a meaningful cause."
