Jay Baruchel has joined Cosmopolis, his rep confirms to Gossip Cop.
The movie stars Robert Pattinson as a wealthy but embattled financial whiz over the course of a hectic 24 hours, during which he bets a fortune against the yen.
Baruchel will reportedly play the Pattinson character�s shy counterpart and �conscience.�
The project will be directed by David Cronenberg.
Sarah Gadon has reportedly been cast as Pattinson�s wife.
Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche and Samantha Morton also star.
