Report: 'Twilght' Stars To Rake In Big Money for Final Flick

Twilight is a huge moneymaker, no one can dispute that as Eclipse has brought in nearly $300 million since it opened June 30. And, it looks like the movies' big stars are going to get to see a bit of that cash, too. A report claims Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will get $25 million each for starring in the final two movies of the hit franchise. And, they'll also get a share of the gross profits which could bring their total pay to $41 million. Wow!

Nymag.com reports that Summit will pay stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner each a whopping $25 million against 7.5 percent of the theatrical gross for starring in the next and last two Twilight movies, Breaking Dawn, parts one and two.

The studio behind the movies Summit Entertainment re-negotiated the stars contracts earlier this year after deciding to split Stephenie Meyers final book Breaking Dawn into two movies.

The third film The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which has just been released, sees Robert as vampire Edward Cullen, Kristen as his human girlfriend Bella Swan and Taylor as werewolf Jacob Black reprise their roles.

Meanwhile, Breaking Dawn screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg has revealed the last two movies in the series will be sexier than the previous three. She said: Breaking Dawn will be sexier. I think we can get awfully sexy with a PG-13, I'm not worried about the rating.

Imperial Bedrooms was, in a way, a side project. But its also part of the processing of his past, and of his return to L.A., where his friends are directors, actors, producers, people Im involved with in various projects, he says. Ellis has always been seduced by money and fame, and that hasnt changed. Maybe its a weird strain of anti-intellectualism, he says, but if given a choice hed rather hang out with Rob Pattinson than Richard Ford.

And he also mentions that Gus Van Sant was trying to direct Breaking Dawn:

Van Sant, meanwhile, was trying to get the gig to direct Twilight. You can make a lot of money doing that, Ellis whispers, so lightly that it doesnt get picked up by my tape recorder.
