Im not a huge fan, 20-year-old Kristen told Access Hollywoods Shaun Robinson on Saturday at The Twilight Saga: Eclipse junket of the 140-character limiting website. I just wouldnt have one.
When Shaun brought up that some fans Tweet K-Stews location when they happen to cross her path, the brunette beauty suggested she might have to start carrying ammo to stop it.
Yeah, Im gonna start walking around with a squirt gun, she laughed. And just be like, No, its cool. Im not trying, I mean, just to like squirt their phones Yeah, Twitters kind of crazy.
Kristen added that she can tell when people are giving away her location.
I mean phones phones are like a dead giveaway, she said. It happens.
While she isnt likely to put the squirt gun idea into actual motion, despite her thoughts in that direction, Kristen, who showed up looking confident and comfortable at the Eclipse junket over the weekend, said fame is becoming easier to handle.
I totally am more comfortable now, she said. I try not to have that thing that people have which is like a celebrity skin and I think thats maybe where I run into problems.
Kristen said one way shes becoming able to handle the attention that has come with being a Twilight star has been by letting go.
I have had so many people say, Why dont you just [play] the part? Just like, go smile, talk about whatever they want you to talk about, she recounted. Its like, I do, I really try to do that. I guess I should get a face transplant or something But its gotten weird. Ive like, relinquished control.
She did admit that everything doesnt always go smoothly, despite her newfound celebrity wisdom.
People are much better at doing this than I am and thats fine and Im getting better and whatever, but Im not gonna try to force myself to do anything, she added.
