First it was Fox�s �Knight & Day,� with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, moving up two days from Friday, June 25, to Wednesday, June 23. Perhaps it is shifting away from Sony�s Adam Sandler comedy, �Grown Ups.� Perhaps it just wants two full days of undivided box office to itself. And perhaps Fox is so excited about what it�s holding, it just can�t wait to get it out. We�ll find out soon enough. (I�m seeing it tomorrow � a very good sign.)
Now, word breaks on Twitter � the new PR Newswire � that Paramount�s THE LAST AIRBENDER will shift forward one day from Friday, July 2, to Thursday, July 1. The source? Uber-producer Frank Marshall, who posted on Tweeted on @LeDoctor that �LAST AIRBENDER release date moves up to July 1st��
Of course, that puts it RIGHT on the heels of another tiny, indepenedent film called �The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,� with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, which opens on Wednesday, June 30. So technically, the July 4 holiday begins five full days before July 4th.
