We saw this recently in Adventureland , Greg Mottola melancholy comedy that winks at the Cameron Crowe film and now going to be in the Welcome to Zombieland , one of those films that break the bank box office worldwide and still has not arrived on our screens. Since its early stages we understand that Jesse is a cool type: always remains calm and is keen to know who the interview. Answers questions with as many questions to feed his curiosity and then unleashed the perfect comic timing: "Yes I shot two films that are set in a playground - says - Want to know the difference between Adventureland and Zombieland? Approximately 12 million dollars! Adventureland was a comedy drama intimate focus totally on the characters. Zombieland is the exact opposite. What do you mean? Are you saying that is a terrible movie? Ok, let's face it, that movie was really terrible. Meanwhile, from the title: we were really cursed. They had a great script. We finished shooting with five days in advance. Yet the producers have made us turn over for other fifty-five days. At that moment Cursed was sunk: they took the film to Wes Craven that he lost all control. It was one of the silliest experiences I have ever attended.

The Top Ten Movie Soundtracks of 2009; Adventureland & New Moon on list
Many of the films' soundtracks this year were highly anticipated, with indie rock star power attached early on to films like The Twilight Saga: New Moon (Thom Yorke, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver) and Where the Wild Things Are (Karen O. of Yeah Yeah Yeahs), but not all delivered on that promise when the visuals were married in the final product.
The commonality of most of the soundtracks on this list is nostalgia, whether it be for old cinema classics or for our own childhood. It's a tricky business, tickling that ache for the past, but for the films below business is mostly good. (As an added bonus, several of the entries below have "reassembled" playlists incorporating all the songs used in the film -- enjoy!)

New Moon makes this list almost purely because of the inclusion of new material from the likes of Grizzly Bear ("Slow Life"), Thom Yorke ("Hearing Damage"), and pairing Bon Iver with St. Vincent ("Roslyn"). Whether it's the best music for Taylor Lautner to remove his shirt to is probably up for debate.
Maybe I just have a soft spot for movies that look back fondly at the year 1987, but the music used and the general feeling in this coming-of-age movie transcends simple nostalgia. Sandwiched between songs from The Replacements is The Velvet Underground ("Pale Blue Eyes" serves as a sort of theme for Kristen Stewart's Emily) and everything from Animotion to Judas Priest. And, of course, several playings of Falco's "Rock Me Amadeus," dampened only by the sweet, sweet dancing of Lisa P. (Margarita Levieva).

31. 'Adventureland'Coming of age dramedies are a dime a dozen these days, so it's always a treat to find one that manages to be fresh, funny -- and not entirely clich�d. 'Superbad' director Greg Mottola scores again with this nostalgic trip to the titular park in the summer of '87 starring a lovable Jesse Eisenberg and an uncharacteristically charismatic Kristen Stewart. Plus, the film confirms what most of us have long suspected: Amusement park games are all rigged!
1. 'Up in the Air'
With three feature films now under his belt � 'Thank You for Smoking,' 'Juno' and now this instant classic -- is there any doubt that 32-year-old Jason Reitman is one of Hollywood's best directors? George Clooney somehow makes a corporate downsizer (topical!) lovable and magnetic in a superb lead turn (his best yet), while Anna Kendrick and Vera Farmiga kill as the distinctly powerful women who change his life. 'Air' is a near-perfect film that is at times bitingly funny, at other times heartrendingly sad -- sort of like life, come to think of it. -- KP
