Win Welcome To Rileys Starring Kristen Stewart On DVD!

Photobucket
Welcome To Rileys is headed to home video on February 1st, 2011 and Icon Vs. Icon is going to give you a shot at taking it home! The film stars James GandolfiniKristen Stewart and Academy Award nominee Melissa Leo and is directed by acclaimed film and music video director Jake Scott (including videos for R.E.M., Radiohead, U2, Oasis, The Strokes). It first premiered at Sundance 2010 to critical acclaim for its emotionally charged performances!
James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo star as a married couple whose relationship has deteriorated due to a family tragedy years earlier.  In what is widely considered her most dramatic and mature role yet, Kristen Stewart plays Mallory, a teenage runaway who transforms the couples relationship after their lives intersect.
Synopsis: Welcome To Rileys is a powerful drama about finding hope in the most unusual of places. Once a happily married and loving couple, Doug and Lois Riley (James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo) have grown apart since losing their teenage daughter eight years prior. Leaving his agoraphobic wife behind to go on a business trip to New Orleans, Doug meets a 17-year-old runaway (Kristen Stewart) and the two form a platonic bond. For Lois and Doug, what initially appears to be the final straw that will derail their relationship, turns out to be the inspiration they need to renew their marriage.

'TRON: Legacy' DVD Extras To Include 'Tron 3' Teaser Scenes?

Photobucket

Rumours the TRON: Legacy DVD will include a teaser for Tron 3 appear to have been confirmed with some leaked details from the set of the bonus scenes.

A source tells Ain't It Cool News the DVD extras will comprise the following three Tron 3-baiting scenes:

One includes Bruce Boxleitner (as Alan) and Dan Shor (as Ram). Turns out that "Ram" was apparently running the FLYNN LIVES campaign and he's frantically destroying all of that data and files, as Alan confronts him. Dan apparently utters the line, "Why did Kevin give you the cool name" - which means to my way of thinking that after Flynn came out of the Grid, he sought out the human soul of Ram and befriended him and started calling him RAM - you know - some geek that wrote that Actuarial Program that helped people plan for the future.  I sorta love that.  And love that the kindness Flynn showed this lowly geek, apparently created a gung ho champion for the life and memory of Kevin Flynn.

Another has Quora showing up to ENCOM and getting acousted by the press because she's riding Sam's Ducati - and states that she just spoke with Kevin Flynn, yesterday!

The last scene that was shot in this mini-shoot involved text screens where you see the Father & Son... The Dillingers stating that everything is going as planned.

TRON: Legacy is out on DVD and BluRay in the UK on April 11. A US release date is yet to be announced.

Kristen Stewart's 'Welcome to the Rileys' Heading to Blu-Ray/DVD in February

Photobucket
Good news for Kristen Stewart fans who have anxiously been awaiting a chance to see Welcome To The Rileys. The film's DVD/Blu-Ray release date has been set for February 1, 2011, per The HD Room, and the movie is already available for pre-ordering at sites like Amazon.com.
WTTR had a limited opening this fall, and Kristen Stewart and co-stars James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo spent a lot of October promoting the picture, via press conferences and the like.
The movie has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the critics. For instance, Roger Ebert said  the following about it:
"Welcome to the Rileys" takes two old plots and makes a rather touching new plot out of them. What weve seen before is (1) the good man who hopes to redeem a prostitute, and (2) the frozen suburban couple who find new hope in their marriage. The film involves such characters in a story that is a little more real and involving than we expect.
Fan reactions to the film have been very good as well. In fact, one group of fans has begun a fundraiser to ensure WTTR is a part of major award show considerations.

BritFilms Reviews Remember Me DVD

Photobucket
Remember Me DVD

Directed by: Allen Coulter
Starring: Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper, Martha Plimpton, Lena Olin, Peyton List, Ruby Jerins, Meghan Markle
Certificate: 12
Running time: 100mins
Release date: 26/07/10

Robert Pattinson can act. This is coming from a person who doesnt necessarily detest the Twilight franchise but simply thinks that the world wouldnt be at a massive loss if it was without it, because to be honest itd give the heartthrob at the centre of it more of a chance to stretch his skill in films like this.

A tale of love and loss (and no bloody vampiresfor a change!), the great and all powerful Pattinson plays rebellious son and tortured soul, Tyler Hawkins. Distant from his father (Pierce Brosnan), mourning a brother and caring for a sister, the lad is an emotional wreck who is eventually tamed by kindred spirit and just as screwed up Ally (Emilie De Ravin) who has Daddy issues of her own in the form of (Chris Cooper). Both with fathers they cant connect with and missing a family member they cant bring back the two lend a helping hand in each others lives before hitting the predictable rocky patch and recovering from it.

Remember Me is refreshing for a number of reasons. Firstly it gives the aforementioned lad from those Twilight films a chance to prove he can do more than just look cold, grey and constipated opposite Kristen Stewart. With Remember Me hes a troubled youth on the road to ruin, stretching past the tree climbing, vampire pouting hes now attached to, here we have him butting heads with Brosnans well delivered father figure, cracking jokes with his best mate and gelling perfectly with a love interest that unlike Bella the Bore actually reacts.

This is as much Ravins film as it is Pattinson and she shines just as brightly. Ally is as wild and fiery as her new beau carrying half the weight of the film that has a gut punch of an ending on its back, that only after viewing a second time echoes through the story and the characters involved, making it feel more than a cheap shock that some might see it as.

Remember Me is a film that is all about acceptance and moving on orchestrated by two strong leads at its centre. My only hope is that one of them manages to shake off the franchise theyre so cemented in once its all done and continue to surprise us like he has with this.

'Eclipse' DVD Out Nov 30th or Dec 7th?

Photobucket

The adventures of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in Twilight: Eclipse look set for a DVD and Blu-ray bow in early December
As it continues to earn a mountain of cash at the box office, with every chance of being the third film this summer to break $300m in the US alone, questions inevitably arise about just when we can expect Twilight: Eclipse to turn up on DVD.
And thanks to Amazon Germany, we might just have an answer.
The retailer is listing the film for release on 6th December 2011, which would presumably point to a US release on either 30th November or 7th December. Thus far, it's just listing a two-disc Fan Edition of the film, and the Blu-ray release too.
